The scariest legends are about to come true!

Molly Thompson has lots of questions. Questions like, is her Aunt Carol an undead fiend who drinks the blood of the living? Is she secretly lurking in the attic? And is Molly's friend Lowry a descendant of a long line of Kroglin werewolves?

Serious young historian Molly suspects that the creepy legends about her tourist town of Howlfair are starting to come true. But when her mother bans her from doing any further research, bookworm Molly and her friends - Lowry and guardian-cat Gabriel - become covert monster-hunters to keep Howlfair safe. It seems that someone is secretly trying to summon Howlfair's mythical monsters, and with the election of a new town mayor looming, everything – and everyone – is becoming increasingly suspicious...

Halloween month is coming soon and I find it is perfect time to pick this book up and dive into the spooky, mysterious reading adventure.

The Ghouls of Howlfair is a story that we followed with Molly Thompson who lives in a town that is full of scariest legends that she wants to investigate and discover the story behind it. I enjoy following Molly's investigation adventure. Her enthusiasm to find the whys and whos by doings lots of research was really amazing and makes me want to join her investigation. Her investigation makes me curious along the way right from the beginning of the story.

"Follow the fear and you'll find the secret." - Nick Tomlinson, The Ghouls of Howlfair.

Honestly, this book is so refreshing and really that good that you don't realize you're almost finish reading the whole book. Seriously, it was hard to put the book down. You will find yourself very invested in the story and seriously need to know all those suspicious things that has starts to haunt you just like how it has haunting Molly. I love the friendships with the humans and Molly best relationship with the cat is really wonderful.

"Friendship, Molly," she said, "is a sacred thing." - Nick Tomlinson, The Ghouls of Howlfair.
