The delightful follow-up to When Dimple Met Rishi and There’s Something about Sweetiefollows Pinky and Samir as they pretend to date—with disastrous and hilarious results.

Pinky Kumar wears the social justice warrior badge with pride. From raccoon hospitals to persecuted rock stars, no cause is too esoteric for her to champion. But a teeny-tiny part of her also really enjoys making her conservative, buttoned-up corporate lawyer parents cringe.

Samir Jha might have a few . . . quirks remaining from the time he had to take care of his sick mother, like the endless lists he makes in his planner and the way he schedules every minute of every day, but those are good things. They make life predictable and steady.

Pinky loves lazy summers at her parents’ Cape Cod lake house, but after listening to them harangue her about the poor decisions (aka boyfriends) she’s made, she hatches a plan. Get her sorta-friend-sorta-enemy, Samir—who is a total Harvard-bound Mama’s boy—to pose as her perfect boyfriend for the summer. As they bicker their way through lighthouses and butterfly habitats, sparks fly, and they both realize this will be a summer they'll never forget.

An enemy trope to lover? Count me in! I'm sucker for that trope. Duh! Who doesn't, right? or maybe that is only me, no?

Anyway, 10 things I hate about pink is a story follows with Pinky who has her own mind, quite rebellious, social justice warrior, confident with her self, passionate, a headstrong person and she is actually has a soft spot that is very hard for her to show. I like her personality but I do annoyed with her character, honestly. I do at first felt like she is a brat who keeps on bickering with her mother, doing the opposite what her mother wants but as story goes through, she is what she is. Her willful is strong and quite inspiring especially when she joint hand with people to stop from closing butterfly park.

And then, here comes the prince charming, Samir. The genius, handsome, and above all, the opposite of Pinky Kumar. After, Samir's internship at one of the best law firm fall out, he was devastated and the only idea he has is going back home and maybe do part time job. However, Pinky Kumar offer him to become his fake boyfriend and at the same time, he can impress Pinky's mom and get an internship at Pinky's mom's law firm and that draw him to accept it.

10 things I hate about pinky is an adorable read, fun and quite enjoyable one. I enjoy the development of Pinky and Samir's relationship. From a stranger who hate each other to finally, fall in love. Samir's understanding on Pinky is amazing and very patient when communicate with her which if I'm in his my temper will rising. An opposite attraction is what attract both of them, I might says. However, the plot development wasn't that much. And, the fact that Samir fly to summer house to Pinky without actually telling his mom was quite weird. It felt like there's a loop hole in the story. And not to forget, for the almost whole story Pinky keeps on making her mom's angry with her and somehow, they resolves so fast at almost towards the end which to me it should be more and better than that.

Overall, it is an entertaining and fun read from enemy to lover trope.
